We provide teleradiology services reading exams in the following technologies:

The reading of images is provided in the following areas: central nervous system, musculoskeletal system, chest, abdomen, pelvis, heart, vascular exams.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

For each client we assign a project manager who is on the side of Scanlab responsible for all arrangements and quality of service. It coordinates the integration of client and Scanlab at number of levels: management, IT, medical services and administration.
Scanlab provides teleradiology using VPN technology or other dedicated IT solutions of leading companies in this field. In the area of technology, we always trying to adjust to the client’s IT infrastructure. IT professionals on our side are working hand-in-hand with the client for a secure and efficient network connection that allows us to exchange personal data, referrals, reports and radiological images in DICOM.

QUALITY SERVICE GUARANTEE

A priority for Scanlab is to provide the highest quality of medical services. The quality of the descriptions is guaranteed by constant internal audits involving double checking of radiological reports. The team of Scanlab is committed to built close relationships with hospitals and referring clinicians. Radiologist are available to clinicians through direct, dedicated telephone line (ON-CALL function). Depending on customer needs and specific medical cases, we realize the descriptions in the range from 2 h to 48h. For emergency cases we deliver reports within 30 minutes (average time).

TELERADIOLOGY

Teleradiology is a branch of telemedicine dealing with the transmission of diagnostic images (eg. MRI, CT, CR). The images are sent from the place of performing exams to the center of reporting services. This allows for a substantial increase in performance of cooperating centers. The use of teleradiology can be crucial also for reducing the costs of your business. The patient has the opportunity to use the services of the best specialists in their field, even if they can not be in a place of delivering exams.
In 2011, Scanlab provided remotely around 2300 reporting services on a 24/7 mode. Using teleradiology system we get images of MRI, CT or X-ray performed at the customer, and all descriptions are prepared in our reading center. The results are sent online. Each week, the descriptions are sent by traditional mail, which allows to storage medical records in writing.
